Personalized Books Ontario Review & Giveaway! - CLOSED

I was given the chance to review a Customized Book from Personalized Books Ontario! The whole process is quite easy and if you get stuck Fay is there to help. The only thing that was hard about the whole process was choosing which book I wanted! They have a very large selection in 15 different categories including GrownUp, baby, toddler, special occasion etc!






It took awhile but I finally decided on a book called "My Trip To The Fire Station". I chose it because my little guy is crazy about Firetrucks right now and because of what the website had to say about the book "This book was recently introduced into the school system for young readers. It is both educational and exciting." This book teaches about fire prevention and safety - something that every child needs to learn.

Once you choose your book - you fill out a form to customize it - in this particular book I was not only able to include my little guy as the star but was able to add his Papa, his uncle Kevin, cousin Alex, and a few other familiar names. The books can also be dedicated on the very first page which I think is a great idea!

After a few emails back and forth with the ever friendly and courteous Fay, who helped me make sure I had all the right names in all the right places, my order was placed.

I figured I'd be waiting a couple weeks for my book. I mean after all it has to be customized, packaged and shipped - right? Wrong!! On the Personalized Books Ontario website they say "We pride ourselves in having a very short turn-around time. Most orders are completed and mailed within 48 hours of receiving them. If, however, orders are not completed correctly and we have to contact a customer to get correct information, this impacts the delivery time. If for any reason we experience a delay in processing your order, we will advise you by phone or email." and I believe they are even faster than that! I had my book in under a week! I was so surprised when it arrived at my door so quickly!

Now, honestly I have to tell you I was expecting a cheaply made, thin paged, crappy little book. I mean I have ordered a few personalized books from other companies in the past and was always very disappointed. I certainly wasn't disappointed with the book from Personalized Books Ontario!

These are full-sized, quality, hard cover books, with a wipe clean, film laminated surface. The pages are professionally printed full color pages on thick high quality paper. These books are meant to be a keepsake that can be treasured for a lifetime!

As an added little bonus they even give you a cute little book plate so you can add a picture of the star of the book - I put ours on the front page.

My little guy was absolutely thrilled when he saw the book, he was even more excited when we read the story to him and it was all about him and the people he knew!







I was completely satisfied with the service, choice of products and quality of the book. I rate Personalized Books Ontario a 10!
