Pedoodles Review & Giveaway - CLOSED

Remember way back when baby shoes looked like mini army boots? They came in the color choice of white or black and they were so stiff, heavy and cumbersome it was like stuffing a pair of hockey skates or your child's feet! The poor kids couldn't bend their ankles or their feet for that matter. I wonder how we ever learned to walk at all?

Thank goodness we've learned a thing or two along the way! We now know that barefoot is the best way for your baby to learn to walk and we also know that there are times when barefoot isn't appropriate and they need some foot protection. We also know that shoes shouldn't be heavy or restrict the child's foot movement. The shoes should be flexible and soft and allow the child's feet to move freely. The child's shoes should be breathable allowing air to circulate around the feet and the shoes should be flat to simulate barefoot conditions. Of course the shoes should also fit well.

That's where shoe companies like Pedoodles come in!


Pedoodles were designed to meet all of the above ideals! Not only are Pedoodles good for feet but they come in an abundance of choices compared to the old-fashioned black and whites!

Each of my little guys were given the chance to review a pair of Pedoodles!

The oldest one (I call him Boo) was sent The Ranger style.








The youngest little guy was sent The Bumper Car style.







The shoes are super easy to put on and they stay put - no slipping off. They have Velcro closures to keep them secure - so no tying - thank you! LOL! Boo has no problem at all putting on his own shoes to get ready to go away and both styles look great for dress up or play.

Both pair have the Exclusive PedFlex™ flat rubber soles so they aren't slipping and sliding around once the shoes get wet. Great feature for the slightly clumsy 2 1/2 year old that seems prone to landing on his butt and for the 1 1/2 year old that is still learning to get his grip in wet areas.

Both pair of shoes also have the wide toe design too. This is another huge plus for the 2 1/2 year because he has really wide feet and sometimes we have a problem with shoes because they tend to pinch or squish his toes. When they are younger they can't tell you that the shoes are hurting so it's good to know that this won't be a problem with Pedoodles - these shoes give the feet lots of breathing room!

We found the shoes to be very well made and both of these boys have put them to the test!! They've got them wet and dirty (they clean up perfectly by the way with just a damp cloth), ran through the sand in them and have played quite rough. They've walked around on the cement scuffing them along the way and still there are no visible signs of wear! These shoes aren't made out of cheap vinyl or faux leather material either - these are top quality leather shoes.

I think we all agree that the Pedoodles are great shoes! Boo hasn't complained once about the shoes and he'll be the first to tell you if they don't feel good on. The youngest one even seems to walk better wearing these shoes versus a pair of ordinary runners he used to wear.

They have sizes ranging from 0-4 years and the prices range from $26-$40 depending on the style. An average price for very above average shoes. You have to buy shoes anyway so you might as well be buying quality!
