The company logo speaks volumes for this next review and giveaway!
I'm going to start with a little quote direct from the company, just because I think it's very relevant to the product so please hang in there.
"Polliwalks was created by Joel Rusnak, a former toy and footwear designer. Joel had a long time vision of connecting exceptionally comfortable shoes with the playful perspective of a child."
If you have never heard of Polliwalks let me tell you what they are:
These are by far the cutest kids shoes I have ever seen! These shoes are made to look like adorable animals - so when your child isn't wearing them they'll be wanting to play with them.
Take a look at just a few of the Polliwalks currently available then you'll see what I'm talking about!
This is The Gator
Here's The Frog
The Firefly - with a tail that lights up!
There are so many more cute styles, wish I could show them all here! Lots of color choices for each style as well.
We were sent a pair of T-Rex Polliwalks for each of my two little guys to review. We got them both the same style so they wouldn't fight over them but we did get a different color so they wouldn't get mixed up - lol!
The oldest one received the T-Rex in the Cornstalk color.

The youngest received the T-Rex in the Army Green Color.

The boys loved the shoes from the moment they arrived!
The 2 1/2 year old would leave them on permanently if we would allow it. He puts up quite a fuss when we finally make him remove them every night. They seem to have become a special friend, I've caught him having conversations with the shoes quite a few times - LOL! I don't know what I'm going to do come fall and winter when the weather isn't appropriate to wear them anymore.
The 1 1/2 year old just enjoys stomping around in them. He's always excited to put them on so I know he loves them just as much! Apparently he also thinks they are quite tasty as you can see in the pic above.
What do I like about these shoes?
1. They are extremely, extremely cute! Why should kids have to wear shoes that look like mini adult shoes? They draw attention everywhere we go - adults are always asking where we got them and you constantly see other kids pointing them out to their moms - lol!
2. They are completely washable!!! A few swishes under the tap and they're as clean as a whistle! A huge plus for me and my mud puddle monsters!
3. These are so easy to put on. They seem to have a roomier fit than most shoes. A big bonus because they are simple enough for the 2 1/2 year old to pull on without any help at all!
4. The shoes leave footprints!! It's the cutest thing ever! We live near the beach and do a lot of walking in the sand - the bottoms of the shoes have a print of the animal they represent on them. So when the kids walk they leave tracks! I giggle every time we go to the beach because I'm thinking about people that come for a walk after we leave. I wonder what kind of animal they think left those tracks? LOL!
5. These shoes are extremely well made! They have a very thick, but soft, cell foam sole with a built in arch support and a little edge on the heel. The edge along with the heel strap keep the shoes firmly in place - no slipping of the feet even when they are wet.
6. If you look closely at the shoes you will notice the slight upward curve at the front of the shoes - this keeps my very clumsy 2 1/2 year old from stubbing his toes and falling every two seconds when he gets tromping down the sidewalk. Something he constantly does in his other shoes. He has had some pretty badly scraped knees prior to wearing these shoes.
7. They are environmentally friendly!! The company recycles and reuses it's excess material created from the molding process. The adhesives used in manufacturing are environmentally friendly water based adhesives and the packaging tags and hooks are made with recycled paper and plastic with minimal packaging used!
8. The kids love them, enjoy wearing them and they leave them on!!
What did I dislike about Polliwalks?
I have two beefs with them.
1. They don't come in a winter boot. They do come in an adorable penguin rain boot and a very cute fur-lined Puppy slip-on. However the slip-on is too short to be considered a winter boot, but I want them for fall!

2. The kids never seem to want to take them off!
The Polliwalks range in price between $20 & $30 depending on the style. A very affordable price for the quality, durability and of course the uniqueness! The old adage - you get what you pay for doesn't apply here. In my opinion you are getting far more than you pay for. Joel I do believe your vision became a reality - lucky for us!
I am waiting with bated breath to see what they come out with next!
