Right On The Walls Review & Giveaway! CLOSED

I've found a new way to decorate my house and actually make it look like I know what I'm doing!

Everyone has been talking about Vinyl Wall Art but I was clueless as to what it was. I thought it was like the wall decals they sell at stores to decorate a kids rooms. I've used those a few times - I actually have them in my little guy's room right now and I'm not all that impressed. To me it looks like a big sticker and I'm just not in to having stickers plastered all over my walls, it just looks ... tacky. So I never really paid much attention to all the oooh's and aaah's people were making.

That was until I found this website one day when I was looking for wall decorations.
It's called Right on the Walls. I got browsing through all the categories on the website and I was simply blown away! I had no idea that is what vinyl wall art was! It was simply stunning! The more I browsed the more I fell in love with the idea of decorating my home with this vinyl wall art! That's what it is - art! Right on the Walls has so many unique and beautiful products!

I just have to show you some of my favorites!

Etched Glass

Wall Clocks

Car Decals

Wedding Decor

And of course Wall Decor

Then I discovered this! A Beautiful Chalkboard!

That did it for me. I'm just starting to renovate my kitchen and kept thinking this would be perfect thing behind my sink - a cute little Bistro chalkboard!

I was completely impressed with the selection of wall art the site offered but when I found out how many colors were available - they have over 30 to choose from - I was shocked! It certainly wouldn't be hard to match any room in your house with the choices available. There's even a "Create A Room Studio" on the website so you can try out colors and fonts!

I chose the Chalkboard with a black frame, to try - with full intentions of putting it in my kitchen. Ordering was a breeze! Delivery took about two weeks which seems to be the standard for Canadians ordering from the US. It really isn't all that long considering that customs always holds it up.

So as I said, I had intended to put the chalkboard in the kitchen but.... One day while I was sitting on the throne in my tiny bathroom I was looking at the wall straight ahead of me. A little voice kept saying "that wall really needs something". The chalkboard kept calling my name and I finally gave in - lol!

Installation couldn't be easier! The instructions that came with the wall art were very clear and I followed them step by step. I made sure to pull the transfer paper away carefully, so I was sure all parts of the art were stuck to the wall. I had only a few tiny bubbles which were easily removed by using a pin and smoothing the air out! I did it myself in under 10 minutes!

I love it!!!
Am I mad I don't have my chalkboard for the kitchen now - yes!!! It really looks adorable in the bathroom though. I keep finding cute little saying to write on it - I figure since people have to sit there and stare at my wall, I might as well make them smile!

The chalkboard is priced at $30.95. A great price for a piece of art that looks beautiful on the wall!
